FLESH, INK. FRIDAY - Barbara Ingenhaag
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy finding these new artists to bring to you each week with this feature... it's getting more and more difficult each week to bring you a selection of artists who are doing more than simply face-painting for children, but to feature artists with a true vision of using flesh as a canvas. To this end, if you have artists you'd like to see featured on FLESH, INK. FRIDAY, please e-mail us at PTF and we'll look into your fine choices.
Today's treasure hunt brought us Barbara Ingenhaag. She was educated as a glass painter but began collaborating with other artists in 1992, and now produces a wide range of commerical and artistic works.
Her gallery contains a full range of emotional works - some works are quite whimsical, while others spill their saga to you without uttering a single word. All are worthy of your attention, but the cow series was particular for for me.
Visit Barbara's site, and show her some of that PTF love!
