From Here, The View Sucks!
I knew the week was going too well....
Not that The View has ever been a terribly palatable piece of daytime TV to begin with, but earlier in the week, we here at PTF reported, albeit speculatively, that as Katie Couric took Bob Schieffer's spot on the CBS Evening News, and Meredith Viera took Katie's spot on the Today Show, that would leave Bob Schieffer available to take Meredith Viera's spot on The View, thus completing the circle of life.
Well, today the New York Post reports something even scarier than my speculations. Rumor has it that the replacement for Viera will be Patricia Heaton, the judgemental Republican most widely recognized as the whiny wife on Everybody Loves Raymond, the star of any number of tragic Albertson's and Acme grocery store commercials, and the proud mama of two cosmetically enhanced boobs.
At least she and Star Jones will have something in common.

It is interesting how someone so judgemental is talking about how Patricia Heaton is judgemental.

Yeah, not only is she a lot better looking than you, she is also a lot smarter: she's a Republican instead of an analoid of the Left.

Amazing.... this is SO typical of Right-Wing Apologists. They have a week where Tom Delay quits on them, one of their own testifies that the source of leaks came from none other than the President, and they are silent.
But, whoa... make a comment about Patricia Heaton and whoooo-hoooo... now you have a fight on your hands.
Lucas, I'd be more than happy to prove how wrong you are - feel free to take me to task on anything you believe I'm being "judgemental" on - if you feel I'm being "Judgemental" about the President, the Administration, and the current Republican leadership - you're damned straight I'm "judgemental", with damned good reason. But defend them, if you can... on second thought, just keep staring at Patty's breasts... that's why you came, after all.
And gosh, Stogie... someone with a bearded cartoon is knocking other people's looks? As for your equation of Republican = smart?!? If they're so smart, why aren't they USING that alleged intelligence? Go ahead - defend the actions of the Administration in this past week alone.
You have no idea how IGNORANT you sound defining intelligence as the ability to mark an "X" by every name that has an R next to it.
Of course, the last person I met who used the word "analoid" was sitting alone in the basement of the science building blowing up his date, so I doubt I'll hear from you.
Gosh, I feel so much better now. Hope you do, too. Have a nice day.
For the rest of you, I'm sorry you had to see that. I just couldn't let the comments go by - it's so typical of Republicans (NOT ALL OF THEM, mind you - just ones like ole lucas and Stogie here - at PTF, we like to call them THE APOLOGISTS - idiots who keep blinders on regardless of what truths are actually being exposed right in front of their eyes) to attack on personal issues when they have nothing of substance to provide to an intelligent debate - sometimes the only resource left is to bring yourself down to their level. For those who read here all the time (as opposed to the misfits coming in to ogle Patricia Heaton's breasts), you know that I slap the Democrats around for their inability to lead just as much as I knock the Republicans - well, OK... not quite as much, but no one is spared.
As opposed to other sites, I discriminate against one kind of person, and one alone - the ignorant.
