It's A Good Thing He Doesn't Govern According To Polls...

...because as always, they've hit new lows. Again, this is a non-partisan issue. Which would you prefer? Today we have Fox News, which puts the President at a 36 approval rating, with 53 percent disapproving. His approval among Republicans has dropped below 80 percent for the first time, to 74 percent, while less than one in ten Democrats approve of the job the President is doing.

Or maybe you prefer the Associated Press - Ipsos poll, which also places his approval rating at 36 percent. In both of these polls, these numbers once again match or exceed record lows for the President.

What other records have been broken? Only 40 percent approve of his foreign policy and the war on terror - another record low. Only 35 percent approve of his Iraq policies - yet another record low.

Tony Fabrizio, a GOP pollster, says it best, stating "These numbers are scary. We’ve lost every advantage we’ve ever had. The good news is Democrats don’t have much of a plan. The bad news is they may not need one.”

When asked who should be controlling Congress, Americans favored Democrats to Republicans by a margin of 49-33 - again, the 16 point lead is the largest enoyed by Democrats in the poll.

Have I mentioned what a great week it's been?
