I promise, PTF is not going to become a football blog. With that disclaimer aside, your humble FleshPresser has bled burgundy and gold since... well, thinking about how long it's been shows my age, so we're going to sidestep that issue. And there have been quite a few long, long seasons to endure, especially recently.
Tonight, the Redksins won their first playoff game with Head Coach Joe Gibbs since 1993, and the victory against Tampa couldn't be sweeter... even if it wasn't the prettiest of wins. There's nothing that makes people inside the Beltway stop what they're doing and become a united front more than the Redskins in the playoffs.
This game was as physical as they get, and a true test of two great defensive teams, as well as a really fabulous chess match between the youngest and oldest head coaches in the NFL.
Besides, how can you not love a team whose running back comes to his press conferences dressed like this: or this: or even this? HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!
