Time To Change The Batteries?
In April, we posted pictures of Vice President Dick Cheney asleep during Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to the White House. He could sleep because, of course, there's nothing important about relations between China and the United States, right?
Defenders of Cheney suggested that it was just an inopportune photo op, and that the Vice President was actually just referring to the papers in his lap. We don't think that he was referring to them.... Drooling on them, perhaps. But you take a look and judge for yourself.
So, THIS picture was taken today during a Cabinet meeting regarding Iraq. I guess Cheney was once again referring to his.. wait a minute... no papers THIS time. And again, nothing important to pay attention to with regard to Iraq, right?
Looks like it's time to replace the batteries in our Vice President, folks. The animatronics are slowing down.
Go ahead, Apologists. Explain this one away. Seems like Cheney is the true Reagan-ite.
