	The Week That Was - Special Edition - Political Cartoons, Religious Beliefs, and Mohammad
	
	Every week, I devote this section of PTF to the best political cartoons representing the news of the past week.
This week, however, it appears that political cartoons themselves were influencing the news.
I struggled as to whether or not I should run the cartoons in question - on the one hand, the cartoons are the catalyst which sparked the outrage and debate.  On the other hand, there is a legitimate argument (in my opinion) about respect for the religious beliefs of others.
I decided not to run the cartoons in question.  If you're really interested, you can Google them and any number of other sites have them available to you.  At a time when the world should be building bridges of understanding between different political and religious viewpoints, the issue is a difficult one to reconcile.
Rather, I decided that the best people to capture the issue were the political cartoonists themselves.  Here, then, is a collection of cartoons commenting on the issue issue of religion versus free speech:
