DANGER! Mind-altering film clip!!!
Beware, All Ye Who Read This Blog Post!!
Whatever you do.... DO NOT click on this link. This link connects to a clip from the dangerous film, DOAP - Death Of A President, which we told you about last week.
For God's sake, do not even glimpse the film clip, for surely just viewing it will actually persuade you to go out and shoot the President.
Hell, I'm sure you're on a list somewhere in Washington for even READING this post.
So, whatever you do - I implore you - DO NOT VIEW THIS FILM CLIP!!!!

Thankfully, we know that people are not easily persuaded by films. If they were, then someone might have been influenced by Farenheit 911, and reached conclusions that the Bush family was somehow complicit in the events of 9/11/01. And luckily films are rarely persuasive, or else many might have found themselves somehow deluded by the psuedo science put forward by Al Gore.
Unfortunately, films do often encourage those of like minds. Therefore those who might have been predisposed to believing the views espoused by the films above, would find themselves affirmed, and re-inforced in their ways of thinking.
Not that there might already be nut-jobs out there who want to shoot a President, perhaps even THIS president, and would find themselves somehow (delusionally) convinced that this film is a signal, reaffirming the reasons why a President should be removed violently from office. No--those people don't exist.
Nope.
Oh, and I didn't view the clip. But mostly due to lack of interest... in the clip. I would like to see the whole film though. I am curious how one can explore the events that would lead someone to (fictitiously) assassinate the President, and provide a rationale for the event, and yet not find in it a political view or two.
But hey, if anyone makes it THIS far in the post... then go listen to the podcast my son and I have been doing. Far less controversial (unless you don't like Penn State football...).
