In depth economic and scientific analysis by DiCaprio. Wow. How did I not think to seek his advice rather than those of economists and scientists.
Actually--they should follow their own advice.

Your not going to vote, right???

Howdy "Anonymous"!
I'm not sure, but as I look at it again, I'm not sure that I'm seeing the same thing that you are... there's no "analysis" given here. A sarcastic attempt to get people to think about reasons WHY it might be important to vote? Yes. The "celebrities should just shut up" argument is so worn out and lame, I can't even believe that I'm responding to it.
As for you, Jenn... umm... I got nothing. I actually will be voting. And I'd ask you if you were going to vote or not, but being in California, I actually STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to go out and vote... just to make it a *little* interesting there. Welcome back, btw! :)

What's the point in voting when your vote means nothing unless your state reps vote according to the people.
Sorry folks, electoral college votes for president, not you.

c.m...
I'm not a fan of the Electoral College, either.. and I think that the entire system of primaries and our national system of voting needs to be revamped.
That being said, I'd LOVE to see some evidence which supports your position that your state reps are voting for someone other than the candidate who wins the vote.
