Don't Start Believing

VERY funny article in The Onion. Sadly, it's humor comes primarily from its miserable resemblance to reality. Can you say 2004, anyone?

Why is it that Democrats can laugh at themselves and recognize the failings of their own party, and Republicans are so hesitant to do so?
